Den Abschluss des Fakultätstages bildet das SOWI-Ranking, bei dem die besten AbsolventInnen des vergangenen Studienjahres prämiert werden.

SOWI-Tag am 19. November 2013 an der Uni Graz: die besten Studierenden im Rampenlicht

Es ist eine Leistungsschau der Sozial- und Wirtschaftswissenschaftsschaften an der Uni Graz: Der SOWI-Fakultätstag am 19. November 2013 stellt die gelungensten Abschlussarbeiten vor und bietet bei einer Podiumsdiskussion Einblicke in die Breite der Forschungen. Als Höhepunkt werden die besten Studierenden beim SOWI-Ranking ausgezeichnet.
„Damit wollen wir AbsolventInnen unserer Fakultät ein Forum geben, einer interessierten Öffentlichkeit ihre Leistungen vorzustellen sowie Wissenschaft mit Wirtschaft vernetzen“, führt der neue Dekan, Univ.-Prof. Dr. Thomas Foscht, eine Tradition fort.
Neu hingegen ist ein Leitmotiv der Veranstaltung. Heuer stehen die Manager-Gehälter im Fokus. „Mit Robert Göx von der Universität Zürich haben wir einen prominenten Experten zu Gast“, bestätigt Foscht.
Unter dem Titel „Leistung, Verantwortung und Entlohnung“ wird Göx mit anerkannten WissenschafterInnen der Uni Graz, darunter Renate Ortlieb, Manfred Prisching und Richard Sturn, das brisante Thema beleuchten.

Den Abschluss des Fakultätstages bildet wiederum das SOWI-Ranking, bei dem die besten AbsolventInnen des vergangenen Studienjahres mit Unterstützung der Grazer Wechselseitigen und des SOWI-Absolventenvereins prämiert werden.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
