AirCampus-Podcast: Wie pendle ich nachhaltig an die Universität?

Die Podcast-Plattform der Grazer Universtitäten, der AirCampus, präsentiert in dieser Woche Wissens-Beiträge zu folgenden Themen:

1) Fahr mit! Anschnallen bitte, wir fahren grün: Die Universität Graz hat eine neue, nachhaltige Mitfahrbörse ins Leben gerufen. Über die kostenlose App Greendrive finden sich Studierende und MitarbeiterInnen für Fahrgemeinschaften.

2) Roboter führen lernen: Ein europäischer "Führerschein" für Robotik und Künstliche Intelligenz: Die TU Graz hat EDLRIS entwickelt, ein neues Ausbildungsprogramm für die Handhabe von intelligenten Systemen.

3) Bis ins Detail: Der Fettstoffwechsel ist ein komplexes System an biochemischen Vorgängen, das noch weitgehend unerforscht ist. Forschungsgruppen der Med Uni Graz, Universität Graz und Med Uni Wien versuchen jetzt herauszufinden, wie fettspaltenden Enzyme an der Entstehung von Volkskrankheiten beteiligt sind.

4) Musik im Scan: Ein Musikstück ganz genau anschauen und neu interpretieren, es „scannen“ - das macht die Konzertreihe SCAN an der Kunstuni Graz. Am 28. März steht ein Werk von Gerd Kühr, Professor für Komposition, am Programm.

Was ist der AirCampus?
Das Podcast-Projekt der vier Grazer Universitäten versorgt MitarbeiterInnen, Studierende sowie alle Interessierten das ganze Studienjahr über mit wissenswerten Infos aus der Welt der Forschung, aus dem Bildungsbereich und dem Campusleben der Karl-Franzens-Universität, Technischen Universität, Medizinischen Universität und Kunstuniversität. Früher als "Webradio" bekannt, gibt es auf der Website http://www.aircampus-graz.at auch alle Podcasts, die vor dem 2. Oktober 2017 publiziert wurden, im Archiv zum Nachhören. Uns gibt es übrigens auch auf iTunes!

Die Initiative erhielt 2012 den Inge-Morath-Preis des Landes Steiermark, 2017 den PR-Panther in der Kategorie "Wissenschaft" und 2018 den Green Panther in der Kategorie Online Kommunikation.

Around the world in eight stops: the Long Night of Research at the University of Graz

On 24 April from 5 pm, you can take a short trip around the globe at the University of Graz, discovering pecularities of foreign countries or new local features in the entrance hall of the University Library. The itinerary takes you through introduced animal species, political attitudes and the omnipotence of algorithms. There will also be a programme in the historic reading hall, as well as at the UniGraz@Museum and the University Archive.
