The philosopher Harald Stelzer captures the wonders of the animal world in pictures. A selection of his fascinating photos are on display in the "Frühlingserwachen" exhibition at the University of Graz Botanical Garden until 15 May 2025. Passionate amateur photographers are invited to add one of their own photos to the exhibition.

"Observing animals in their natural habitat and capturing moments of tranquillity or movement has captivated me. The interplay of environment, light and animal is what fascinates me about wildlife photography. It is also a wonderful balance to my work as a philosopher at the University of Graz," says Harald Stelzer. With his impressive, artistic photographs, which have also received international recognition, he provides extraordinary insights into the animal world.

All amateur nature photographers who take part in the exhibition with one of their own pictures will be entered into a prize draw to win an animal photo by Harald Stelzer.

The "Frühlingserwachen" exhibition is open daily from 8 am to 2.30 pm in the greenhouses of the Botanical Garden, Schubertstraße 59, 8010 Graz.

The finissage with photo raffle will take place on 15 May 2025 at 6 pm.
