In diesem Jahr erzählen internationale Studierende und MitarbeiterInnen im Uni-Graz-Adventkalender über ihr Weihnachten

Weihnachtsbräuche von Australien über China bis in die Schweiz: In diesem Jahr verraten im Adventkalender der Uni Graz internationale Studierende und MitarbeiterInnen die Advent- und Weihnachtsbräuche ihrer Heimat. Das Titelbild des Kalenders wurde von der Grafikdesignerin Simone Lindner gestaltet. Bis zum 24. Dezember warten spannende Anekdoten und festliche Rezepte aus aller Welt darauf entdeckt zu werden.

Lichterglanz, Nadelduft und vorweihnachtliche Stimmung versprüht der Christbaum im Foyer des Hauptgebäudes, der wieder von MitarbeiterInnen der Uni Graz festlich geschmückt wurde. Die steirische Nordmanntanne wurde von der Bank Austria gesponsert.

The Nazi elite school Napola: Historian seeks memories and personal documents

They were to be brought up to become the future elite of National Socialism: boys and girls aged ten and over who, following the ‘Anschluss’ of Austria to the German Reich, attended a so-called Napola (short for Nationalpolitische Lehranstalt; also known as NPEA, Nationalpolitische Erziehungsanstalt).
