Öffnungszeiten von Gebäuden, Bibliotheken und IT-Infopoints

Ab in die Ferien: Am Montag startet die lehrveranstaltungsfreie Zeit an der Karl-Franzens-Universität Graz. Bis 30. September ändert sich auch bei den Öffnungszeiten der Gebäude und Einrichtungen am Campus der Uni Graz einiges. Hier eine Übersicht, wer und was, wann und wie geöffnet hat:

Die Gebäude der Uni Graz von 6 bis 20 Uhr
Die Portierlogen von 8 bis 16 Uhr
Alle Einrichtungen der Universitätsbibliothek sind in den Sommerferien von Montag bis Freitag geöffnet, an Samstagen, Sonn- und Feiertagen bleiben sie geschlossen.
In der Woche vom 07.07.2014 bis 11.07.2014 werden in Absprache mit der ÖH von der Universität für die Zeit zwischen 18 und 23 Uhr Lernplätze im HS 15.11. im RESOWI-Zentrum zur Verfügung gestellt!
Ferienöffnungszeiten der Infopoints der Uni-IT von 07.07. bis 18.07. 2014 im RESOWI von 8 bis 16 Uhr und im WALL-Zentrum in der Merangasse von 14 bis 16 Uhr. Von 21. 07. bis 05. 09. 2014 im RESOWI von 8 bis 15:30 Uhr, der Infopoint im WALL bleibt unbesetzt. Im Zeitraum von 08.09. bis 19.09.2014 im RESOWI von 8 bis 16 Uhr sowie im WALL von 14 bis 16 Uhr. Ab 22.09.2014 im RESOWI von 08 bis 18 Uhr und im WALL von 14 bis 16 Uhr.

A new academic year, new degree programmes, new students. The University of Graz is kicking off the 2026 winter semester with a modern range of courses. Several new programmes are being launched this year, including the Bachelor’s degree in Early Years Education, which combines vocational training with academic research. Three newly designed degree programmes in art history offer contemporary perspectives on artistic production – from the Old Masters to AI art. First-year students in particular can immerse themselves in university life and gather all the essential information even before the semester begins: during the Welcome Weeks starting on 1 September.

Hot and hotter: Weather station records record-breaking summer temperatures

It has been an exceptionally hot summer so far. The meteorological station at the University of Graz has also reported record temperatures. Unprecedented in the history of weather records dating back to 1894: 44 days above 30 degrees within a single year, six of which were above 35 degrees!
