10 Jahre Frauenstipendien

Sieben Wissenschafterinnen wurden heuer ausgezeichnet

Seit genau zehn Jahren unterstützt die Uni Graz junge Wissenschafterinnen beim Verfassen ihrer Dissertationen oder Abschlussarbeiten mit den Frauenstipendien - 2004 wurden sie das erste Mal verliehen. Am 17. März 2014 vergaben Vizerektorin Renate Dworczak und Katharina Scherke, Vorsitzendes des Arbeitskreises für Gleichbehandlungsfragen (AKGL), die Förderung an insgesamt sieben Nachwuchswissenschafterinnen, drei davon nahmen an der Verleihung teil. 

Die Dissertationsprojekte der Forscherinnen spiegeln eine enorme inhaltliche Bandbreite wieder. Von Gastarbeiterinnen in der Steiermark über neurophysiologische Korrelate der Kreativität bis hin Maskulinitäts-Konzepten bei Arthur C. Doyles "Sherlock Holmes"-Geschichten reicht heuer die Palette.

 

Die Frauenstipendien 2014 erhielten:

Mag. Verena Lorber (Geschichte), Doktoratsstipendium für ihre Arbeit "GastarbeiterInnen in der Steiermark. Entwicklungen, Perspektiven und Integration unter besonderer Berücksichtigung des Gender Aspektes"

Mag. Sandra Prasch (Pharmazie), Doktoratsstipendium für ihre Arbeit "Antimikrobielle u. resistenzmodulierende pflanzliche Wirkstoffe"

Mag. Daniela Schwab (Psychologie), für ihre Arbeit "Neurophysiologische Korrelate der Kreativität".

Mag. Theresa Elisabeth Zifko (Geschichte) für ihre Arbeit "Archäologische Sammlungen und Identitätsstiftung in transnationalen Räumen"

Julia Partlic (Pharmazie), Wiedereinstiegs- und Abschlussstipendium

Maria Petkovska, Bakk. (Joint Master's Degree in English and American Studies), Wiedereinstiegs- und Abschlussstipendium für ihre Arbeit "Concepts of Masculinity and the Late Victorian Social Order as Reflected in Arthur C. Doyle's Sherlock Holmes Stories"

Mag. Elizaveta Samoilova (Rechtswissenschaften), Wiedereinstiegs- und Abschlussstipendium für ihre Arbeit "Cross-Treaty-Abkommen der Europäischen Union nach dem Vertrag von Lissabon"
