Perception Quartet Talks
Brownies' Book is a magazine for children and young adults that was published by W.E.B. Du Bois and Jessie Fauset for two years (1920-1921). Alongside Alain Locke's The New Negro, it is one of the most important publications of the Harlem Renaissance. As an intermedia periodical, it offers a wide range of material for reflection on African American modernity, with a focus on perceptions of black life.
