NHG 2026

Am 20. und 21. Juli 2026 findet in Graz das 12. Jahrestreffen des Netzwerks Historische Grundwissenschaften (NHG), bei dem sich Nachwuchswissenschaftler:innen unterschiedlichster Disziplinen der Historischen Grundwissenschaften (z.B. Diplomatik, Paläographie, Kodikologie, Sphragistik, Heraldik, Aktenkunde, Chronologie, Numismatik, Genealogie, uvm.) miteinander austauschen und den Stand ihrer Fächer diskutieren, besonders auch im Bezug auf digitale Entwicklungen.

Unter dem Thema "Ultra Fines. Transregionale und interdisziplinäre Perspektiven der Historischen Grundwissenschaften" werden die Vortragenden fächerübergreifende und Perspektiven erweiternde Aspekte ihrer eigenen Forschung vorstellen.

From 20 to 21 July 2026, the 12th annual meeting of the Network for Auxiliary Sciences of History (NHG) will take place in Graz, where early-career researchers from a wide range of disciplines within the auxiliary sciences of history (e.g. diplomatics, palaeography, codicology, sphragistics, heraldry, archival science, chronology, numismatics, genealogy, among others) will exchange ideas and discuss the current state of their disciplines, particularly in relation to digital developments.

Under the topic ‘Ultra fines. Transregional and interdisciplinary perspectives in auxiliary sciences of history’, speakers will present interdisciplinary and perspective-broadening aspects of their own research.
