Women at the University
A major aim of the entire European Science Policy is to create working conditions at universities which give equal opportunities to people of both genders, so that they can develop their scientific potential to the full.
This aim affects all components of the university,
- the contents of research and teaching as much as
- the organisation and
- HR resource structures.
With the Working Group for Equal Opportunities, the Coordination Centre for Gender Studies and Equality and the Vice Rector’s Office for Human Resources, Human Resource Development and Gender Equality, the University of Graz has three institutions that work on different focuses for improving the equality of opportunities for men and women at university.
