Studying without the secondary school leaving examination

In order to enrol at the university for a degree programme, you must satisfy the admission requirement of a secondary school leaving examination. In some cases, because of your chosen course of study, this must be supplemented with additional examinations.
As well as the secondary school leaving examination, there is also the option of substituting the admission requirements with a university entrance qualification exam or a vocational school leaving examination. Subject to certain conditions, it may also be possible to start a programme without having passed the secondary school leaving examination.
Please be aware that special requirements for studying apply to some programmes.
