Enrolling for programmes not subject to specific access rules

Proof of a university entrance qualification exam (secondary school leaving examination, vocational school leaving examination, university entrance qualification exam) is necessary in order to commence a programme at the University of Graz. Initially, the information needed to enrol is entered online. You provide your personal data and chosen course of study and select an appointment to enrol in person at the Office of Academic Affairs. Once you have personally enrolled within the general admission period and paid the Austrian National Union of Students fee, you become a regular student at the University of Graz.

Bear in mind that, for some programmes, additional requirements for studying apply.

Separate admission conditions apply to international students and Austrian nationals with a foreign university entrance qualification (school leaving qualification or certificate of completion of studies).
