For anyone using empirical research methods in cultural studies and the social sciences, the GMZ is a key source of support. This interdisciplinary centre offers advice, courses, workshops and networking opportunities in this area.

University Library

One of the largest cultural and educational institutions in Styria, and the focal point of the University of Graz, is the University Library. Here students have access to millions of books and magazines when researching for academic assignments and papers, and peace and quiet for writing. The library also offers a range of services and training sessions: from classes on effective searching and finding what you need in the university library, and training on the use of citation management software, to advice and workshops on “Publishing academic papers”.
