The joint master’s programme in Jewish Studies is taught in collaboration with the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien Heidelberg: it focuses on cultural studies, is research-based and highly relevant to today’s society. It is the only degree programme of its kind in Austria.

About the study programme

Joint Master’s Programme – Jewish Studies – History of Cultures of the Jews, at the University of Graz

The study programme focusses on Jewish history, Jewish literature and cultures since the Age of Emancipation, including the many forms of interaction between Jews and non-Jews. The mandatory basic module teaches the fundamental background knowledge and must be completed at the Hochschule für Jüdische Studien in Heidelberg.
