If you are interested in languages and cultures generally, as well as translation, you are likely to enjoy this degree programme. You should also be willing to gain experience in translation and to network with professional colleagues. You need to have completed a subject-relevant first degree.
Translation (Slovenian/German/English) at the University of Graz
During this study programme you will intensify your knowledge of translation studies, as well as learning about professional ethics, computer-assisted translation, terminology and project management. You will also have a choice of translation modules specialising in business, law, science and technology, tourism, art and culture, literature and film, and will complete practical translation exercises.
After completing the master’s programme there is the possibility of further study in the doctoral programme. The content will be evaluated during the admission process.
