    Research interests:

• I am interested in the evolution of the upper crust, interraction between atmosphere-hydrosphere and rocks and  the impact of environmental changes and tectonic on the lithological  record.  The main working tools are stable isotope geochemistry, field work and mineralogical investigations, which are used to decipher geological processes  in various environments from volcanic to sedimentary ones.  For example, in order to reconstruct environmental changes and tectonics during  the Cretaceous time, we combine geochemical, mineralogical and paleontological data from marine and terrestrial records.
  

• Several Holocene climatic changes are investigated using  stable isotope geochemistry  in combination with other dating methods as U series dating.

• Fission track dating of apatite, zircon and titanite, applied to evaluation of uplift mechanisms and cooling rates in different tectonic settings.
