Organized by the University of Graz and the Austrian Aviation Psychology Association

In the wonderful and hospitable environment of Graz, located in the heart of Europe, the Department of Psychology, University of Graz and the Austrian Aviation Psychology Association offered comprehensive summer academy on aviation psychology. ISAP is the largest event of this kind across Europe and covers a broad range of related topics. ISAP primarily focuses on continuing education of professionals in the aviation sector (e.g., psychologists, air traffic controllers, pilots, or crew members) and related fields of activity. A second focus of ISAP is providing interested undergraduate students from all over the world with an affordable possibility to deepen skills and competencies in this area. This goal is  emphasized by the  introductory day  which is  intended  to

provide participants with sound background knowledge and knowledge of basic concepts of aviation psychology. Thus, ISAP offers a group of highly qualified lecturers with international reputations and a comprehensive course program with lectures, seminars, and workshops. Moreover, ISAP offers excellent possibilities for discussions with experts and establishing relations.

Head of ISAP'9 is Univ.-Prof. Dr. K. Wolfgang Kallus, head of the Section for Work, Organizational, and Environmental Psychology, Department of Psychology, University of Graz and chair of the Austrian Aviation Psychology Association. The attendance of this International Summer School on Aviation Psychology will be recognised by EAAP, the European Association For Aviation Psychology, as a course qualifying for certification/registration as ‘Aviation Psychologist’ or ‘Human Factors Specialist’.
