Sustainable University
The principle of sustainability is not only a research subject for universities, but is also an overall concept for the development of the university itself. In this context, it is, above all, about shaping university development in terms of ecological, economical, social and institutional aspects in a careful and innovative way.
Due to the fact that the University of Graz has taken more responsibility for sustainable teaching, research, further education and administration, it has become a showcase for society. University staff members should be made aware of the importance of sustainability on a permanent basis.
