Training Week for Staff dealing with international exchange

18th - 22st June 2012

The Office of International Relations of the University of Graz is happy to invite you to a training week for staff of International Relation Offices in June 18 – 22, 2012. This week will focus on the issues of Mobility and Internationalization at Home (I@H) and participants will have the opportunity to gain new information, look at different projects, exchange experience, best practice procedures and good ideas. Our aim is to strengthen existing cooperation and explore new collaboration options in the future.

The Staff Training week is open to all administrative staff members of our partner universities who work with international relations.

Application

The program is directed to staff working with international relations, either at central level or at faculties and departments. This initiative offers the possibility for you to apply for Erasmus STT grants at your home institution.

Priority will be given to candidates who will be willing to present a good practice example from their home university in one of the below mentioned areas.

We will be able to confirm your participation by April 13.

We look forward to receiving your applications and to a fruitful joint experience in June.

Programme

Preliminary programme

The week will be organized in information sessions followed by discussion rounds and exchange of good practice examples among the participants. The program will start on Monday morning and end on Friday at noon.

  • Student mobility: EU and non-EU exchanges
  • Mobility of teaching and non-academic staff
  • Summer schools and short term international exchange programs
  • Teaching in English – key to more mobility or barrier to integration?

  • EU Educational Projects (LLP, ERASMUS Mundus, TEMPUS, etc.)
